What's the difference between PRP &PRF?

We have just upgraded all of our PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) offerings to PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin). PRF is better than PRP in the sense that it's more regenerative, but your treatment experience with PRF is virtually the sam e as PRP - in the sense that it still involves a blood draw  and centrifuge. PRF can be used in the same ways as PRP. It just regenerates skin and hair follicles better! PRF has a longer release of growth factor under the skin than PRP does: 10 days for PRF versus just a few hours with PRP! PRF has higher concentrations of stem cells and beneficial exosomes than PRP. PRF involves absolutely no additives, whereas there was an anticoagulant (sodium citrate) in the PRP tubes. Additionally, PRF is more comfortable when injected - it burns less under the tissue than PRP. Bottom line, PRF is a superior regenerative treatment, and we've brought it to you! Our new microneedling with PRF treatments will involve a modest price increase to reflect the upgraded equipment: $620 for one treatment, and $1450 for the three pack (our usual 22% discount on the three pack!)
